I know it's a tough one, but do people really expect us to compete 100% in so many games back to back (depending on how long it goes on for)? We don't have the squad for it and the fact that we have looked so mediocre in the bulk of these Euro qualifiers with a second-string squad proves that. I love this Club but I am under no illusions that we will progress very far in this tournament, even if we get through tonight. We are just not ready for it. But say we did an Everton and punched above our weight in the tournament and, unlike them, it ultimately sent us down. Then all the same morons berating Slav for not giving it a go in these rounds would be berating him again relegation. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

we "threw away a two goal lead" after two of the chosen first team players went off injured in the space of two minutes, our centre back got him sent off (again) for school boy challenges, and the other CB scored a worldy OG.
And all of this is somehow the managers fault.
Do me a favour Dean and stay on the fucking golf course, wait until the end of the season before doing any comparisons?

I admit that backed Allardyce until it was impossible to do so after our absymal 2nd half last season. But he didnt help himself due to his arrogance and ear cupping.
I was underwhelmed with the appointment of Bilic but could understand that he would lift the club and play a more exciting brand of football. Even though i questioned club level CV and he wouldnt have been my choice, he is here now and like all managers and players you should get behind them and wish them well.
It is far too early to have this debate. Its unfair to gey on his back. He needs time to implement his ideas. So get behind the guy and lets hope he proves the doubters like me wrong.

The fact that we played shit for half a season after sitting in the top four on Christmas day, pussy footing around just to qualify for the damn thing, then to just give the ting up pisses me right off.

Whatever I thought of the manager, I hope Bilic has his own goals and plans that do not involved comparing his progress to stuff in the past.

The idea that the group stages of Europe bring in anything more than a negligible profit is wrong. There is very little money in the EL. (Unless you win it, which gets you into the Champions League).
